According to a new report, Tampa Bay Rays’ shortstop Wander Franco might soon be out of Major League Baseball for good.
Recently, after allegations surfaced on social media that he was involved in a relationship with an underage girl, Franco was placed on the restricted list.
Franco denied the allegations on an Instagram live session, but then faced another accusation while in the Dominican Republic.
MLB is conducting an investigation, and a new report from Hector Gomez states that the league is very concerned about the ongoing situation.
According to Gomez’s sources, “It is highly unlikely that Wander Franco will play in MLB again, considering the current direction of the investigation, which is strongly leaning towards allegations against him.”
